As assistant to Ansel Adams from 1979 to 1984, John Sexton refined his art of seeing and the craft of fine photographic printing. This exquisite collection of images of trees celebrates the variety and luminosity of trees in natural landscapes. The fifty-three duotone plates were printed by Gardner Lithography. This book followed his award-winning first book, Quiet Light, by four years.
