Sudek's first monograph takes an intimate look Prague, which would remain a preferred subject throughout his long career. The book is divided into seven sections, each focusing on a different locale in and around the city, and each with an accompanying text: Prague Castle (seven photographs); St. Vitus Cathedral(seventeen photographs); Mala Stranan and Hradcany (twenty-four photographs); The old city of Prague (sixteen photographs); The new town and Vysehrad (sixteen photographs); Modern Prague (sixteen photographs); and the suburbs of Prague.
