Nobuyoshi Araki: Tokyo Story. . Heibonsha, 1989. Unpaged. Oblong quarto. Stiff wrappers with photo-illustrated dust jacket. Black-and-white reproductions. Text in Japanese.
An important Araki title that suggested a new direction in his work; though not totally without his usual voyeuristic gaze, the book consists of 120 images laid out in order of the seasons. It shows Araki as more of an alert urbanist, as opposed to a giddy anthropologist of kink.
A bit of shelf wear; otherwise Fine/Fine.
