James Nachtwey Injured in Iraq
According to the New York Times "The wounded men were riding in an open Humvee at 9:30 p.m. in Baghdad when a grenade landed among them. Mr. Weisskopf picked up the grenade and threw it part way out of the vehicle, losing his right hand but limiting the injury to the others, according to an e-mail message sent to his former colleagues by Valerie Strauss, a reporter at The Post." Both men are in stable condition Thursday evening and awaiting transfer to a military hospital in Germany.
