Jon Edwards' portfolio A Way of Being
"After practicing civil rights and environmental law for over twenty years, I have spent the last five years photographing inhabitants of islands off the coast of Maine. These individuals live simply, and demonstrate dignity and tenacity when, by choice or lack of opportunity, they are forced to survive under either the harsh economics or isolation of island living, or an increasingly difficult traditional way of life."— Jon Edwards

| Jun Morinaga: River, Its Shadow of Shadows An amazing book of photographs of river waters, taken by the photographer who was assistant to W. Eugene Smith in Japan in 1961 & 1962. These images were taken by Morinaga from 1960 to 1963. He established his own studio in 1969.
In his introduction, Smith writes in part: "The photographs in this book contain no actual human beings. Yet, to me, these photographs hauntingly seethe with undercurrents of the damnation factors of our times..."

Stephen Shore: Witness No. 1
This title is down to the last remaining copies at Nazraeli. If you want it, order now. Edited by Stephen Shore, it includes his own work as well as that of numerous photographers.
Magazines and books are generally edited and designed by unseen hands, hands that are often limited by the ideas and agendas of the publisher. What if, we thought, an artist was not only the primary focus of each issue in this biannual series, but as "guest editor" was also responsible for the design of its cover and much of its contents as well?"—the publisher READ MORE

Stephen Gill: Hackney Flowers
"Stephen Gill has again used his surroundings as the inspiration for this beautiful and evocative series. Hackney Flowers has evolved from his series and book Hackney Wick. This times Gill has collected flowers, seeds, berries and objects from Hackney, East London, that were then pressed in his studio and re-photographed alongside his own photographs and found ephemera, thus building up multi-layered images extracted from the area."—the publisher
