Douglas Prince: Coalescence
"Considering the many possible combinations of people, places and things, I search for the balance point between the interacting forces of contradictions and equivalents. Some of the contrasting polarities that I respond to are: innocence and corruption, vulnerability and menace, grace and gravity. The similarities are frequently found in the continuity of graphic qualities: light, form, surface, and pattern."—Douglas Prince
