| Doug and Mike Starn: Alleverythingthatisyou "Assembled with the Starns' trademark visual flair, this catalog brings together images from a portfolio of images of snowflakes, many of them isolated against stark backgrounds that reinforce the intricate structure of the flakes themselves. Exploring issues of individuality, memory, ephemeral experiences, and on some level the transitory nature of life itself, the Starn twins provide a framework for readers to ponder big questions while considering the tiny jewels of snow preserved in these pages. Each book is finished with a unique ink-jet cover featuring one of several different images of snowflakes, all of which were printed, taped and numbered at the Starns' studio in Brooklyn, NY. Limited to 1000 copies."—the publisher |

Shawn Records: From the Bottom of a Well—Signed
"Shawn Records' beautifully complex photographs are woven together here in From the Bottom of a Well, a poetic and tragically humorous account of a Chinese government-sponsored trip for a select group of American fine-art photographers. For two weeks, they traveled by bus with a government escort to pre-determined locations, including wetlands, oil fields, coal museums, and re-enactments of Mongolian village life. Wrapped up in a web of politics, propaganda, environmental whitewashing, and good-old romanticism, this work plucks at the tension between the photographer's passive role as recorder of sanitized 'facts,' and the impulse to subvert that role. "—the publisher

Los Jardines de México by Janelle Lynch

Los Jardines de México by Janelle Lynch
" Los Jardines de México is a meticulously crafted book, with every aspect of its production — from the choice of paper stock through to the finishing on the page and the choice of image printed on its endpapers — calculated to facilitate and enhance your experience of the work contained within. This care over the details of the bookmaking is particularly fitting, as Janelle Lynch uses photography to conjure up a very particular and rarefied world — she cultivates an atmosphere that you can't help but think would suffer in less sympathetic conditions." — from the review of Los Jardines de México by Faye Robson

Cruising by Chad States
"Chad State's Cruising explores the secret, and not so secret, sites where gay men meet for anonymous sexual encounters. Mostly hidden in plain view, the parks and rest areas frequented by these men are on the outskirts of the everyday world, cloaked by branches and coded signals. Never sensationalistic or merely erotic, States work intimately draws the viewer into this secret world through furtive glances and secluded paths - coaxing us (willingly or unwillingly) into the act of cruising." — from the review of Cruising by Adam Bell

Raising Funds Through Photobooks: The Mercy Project
"I run an online magazine with a few friends and each month we select a theme for the issue with some broad topic as Faith, The Environment, or Politics. The contributor is open to interpret the theme and word however they choose. Often the piece fits easily into the theme and mission of the magazine, but occasionally it tests the limits of that word's meaning. Although words can clearly have a defined meaning as found in a dictionary, an individual's reading is influenced by their life experiences. Thus is the case with the theme of James Whitlow Delano's curated book The Mercy Project."

W.M. Hunt: The Unseen Eye
"Amassed over the course of 30 years by New York collector W.M. Hunt, the collection includes works by masters such as Richard Avedon, Diane Arbus, Imogen Cunningham, William Klein, Robert Mapplethorpe and Robert Frank, as well as works by lesser-known artists and vernacular images. Hunt's instinctive pursuit of striking images has resulted in a collection that manages to evoke a picture of humanity from birth to death, with all the associated nuances of memory, wit, eroticism, fear, grief and horror. More than 350 intensely evocative and frequently surreal images are brilliantly sequenced in this volume; the cumulative effect is unnerving and riveting."—the publisher
