Kate Breakey: Las Sombras/The Shadows

"Breakey gives her audience respite, or an escape into a world where animals are reanimated in a series of simple narratives that remind me of Aesop's fables or children's stories." — from Daniel W. Coburn's review of Las Sombras/The Shadows by Kate Breakey

Terry Evans: Prairie Stories

"These are not sentimental pictures of a land or time that has been lost. Instead Evans gives a document 20 years in the making of a place that could be passed by without a second thought given to it." — from Tom Leininger's review of Prairie Stories by Terry Evans

Xoubanova wandered the paths of this urban woodland examining the people, animals and objects he saw as if he was on uncommon ground. Inadvertently he found himself transforming a given reality into narrative fiction." — the publisher READ MORE
