| Chan Chao: Echo [Echo] is comprised of 28 portraits of female nudes; a far more common subject than that of his previous series, but one handled with the same grace, mutual trust between subject and artist, and masterful control of natural light, color and composition, for which the artist has become well known.... Echo is beautifully printed in process color on matt Japanese art paper, and case bound in natural Mafu. This first edition is limited to 500 copies, each with an original Type C print mounted on the front cover."—the publisher

Mikiya Takimoto: Sightseeing
"Taking a worldwide view of tourism and the creation of media through travel, Sightseeing is a fascinating meditation on and about sightseeing. With this work, Japanese photographer Mikiya Takimoto takes a worldwide view of tourism and the creation of media through travel, photographing families posing in front of Mount Rushmore, the Great Pyramids reflected in a hotel window and a safari caravan in Africa."—the publisher READ MORE

John Divola: Seven Dogs
Due Spring 2008. Preorder now.
"The logic of "seven dogs" is based on two assumptions. First, if
one makes a group of photographs in an environment based on
the simple rule that a dog and man must be in each frame, a casual
description of the surrounding environment will result. And
second, if we accept that one year in a dog's life is the equivalent
of seven for a human, a man might reasonably expect a life seven
dogs long."—the publisher READ MORE

Lars Schwander: Manuel Alvaréz Bravo: One Day in April 1999
Due Spring 2008. Preorder now.
"As the title suggests, one day in April 1999 Lars Schwander
traveled to Coyoacan, Mexico City, to interview Manuel Alvaréz
Bravo. This was just three years before Bravo died, aged 100, and
Schwander's portrayal of the legendary Mexican photographer
— through words and pictures — is both delightful and touching."—the publisher READ MORE

Nancy Honey: Poodle Parlour
Due Spring 2008. Preorder now.
"A long-time wish to do a fashion shoot came true when Nancy
Honey took over the reception room of a chi-chi poodle parlour
on the outskirts of London. Honey transformed the interior and
organized models, clothing and even diamond jewelry to fulfill
this fabulous fantasy. The dogs, it should be noted, were borrowed
from customers of the real poodle parlour."—the publisher READ MORE

Lee Friedlander: Frederick Law Olmsted Landscapes
Due March 2008. Preorder now.
"A natural chronicler of all things uniquely American, photographer
Lee Friedlander here puts his lens to the work of Frederick
Law Olmsted (1822-1903), designer of many of this country's most
iconic public landscapes and the father of North American landscape
architecture. Olmsted was responsible for a staggering
number of America's greatest parks, including the Niagara reservation
(North America's oldest state park), Washington Park, the
Biltmore Estate, the U.S. Capitol building landscape and entire
parkway systems in Buffalo and Louisville. His most famous work
remains New York City's Central Park, a pioneering egalitarian gesture
that, at the time, was very unusual for its ready accessibility."—the publisher READ MORE

"A comprehensive monograph, this volume consists of several sections of work
from 1969 to the present, opening at the height of flower power, with images
of the Beat generation, Woodstock and the protests against Vietnam. Owens
has always remained intrigued by America as a subject: there follows a series

cities."—the publisher READ MORE

"Featuring a collection of 160 works selected from over 6,000 images taken between 1997 and 2006, the photography book provides a lasting visual record of everyday urban environments in Beijing and other cities in the throes of rapid change. The hutong dwellings, standardized apartment buildings, and bustling factories of earlier decades have given way to soaring residential towers and glittering shopping malls."—the publisher READ MORE
