Tom Chamber's newest portfolio Improbable Dreams
"With time, adolescents begin to abandon the natural, untamed state of childhood for the artificial pretenses of adulthood. After my own daughter's arrival at the complexities of her sixteenth milestone, this juxtaposition captured my attention.
In composing a variety of stark, woodland settings in contrast with a billowy dress or other man-made articles, I explore the dichotomy between what is natural and what is fabricated."—Tom Chambers

Rita Maas's portfolio Various Still Lives; Silent Stills, Erasures & Centered Piece
"Elements of color, line and form are rigorously examined and constructed within the laws of optics, where
perspective, and perception are manipulated creating photographs of spatial ambiguity. They posses within
them qualities of order, balance and serenity. My images are meant to be spaces for meditation, a playful field
for your eye to glance and dance around."—Rita Maas

| Sergio Larrain: Valparaiso (In Shrinkwrap!) + 1966 Du Magazine with Larrain Feature "Sergio Larrain began photographing the famous Chilean port [Valparaiso] in the 1950s but it was not until 1963 that he spent more time there, this time, in the company of the poet Pablo Neruda. The text and photographs in Valparaiso were published in the journal Du in 1966 [included in this lot]. But it had to wait until 1991 before it was published as a book, which has since gained a cult following...
[Valparaiso] is a series of pictures that has become an essential reference in the work of this photographer who escapes categorization."—Magnum Photos

Stephen Gill: A Series of Disappointments—Signed
Signed copies arriving in three to four weeks.
"These betting slips were discarded in and
around many betting shops (71 at the time
of publication) in the borough of Hackney in
north-east London. The average number of
betting shops in other London boroughs is 23.
Each of these papers began as hope, were
shaped by loss or defeat, then cast aside.
These new forms perhaps now possess a state
of mind, shaped by nervous tension and grief."—the publisher

Gregory Crewdson: Fireflies
Copies arriving in one to two weeks.
"In the summer of 1996, Gregory Crewdson spent two solitary months at his family's cabin in Becket, Massachusetts. Using both small- and medium-format cameras, he obsessively photographed the fireflies that came alive at dusk each evening. Crewdson was drawn to the flickering lights, in part, by the underlying impossibility of capturing their elusive beauty in pictures."—the publisher
