Print orders are usually fulfilled within a 2-4 week period. Print inventory is not kept on hand at photo-eye but is ordered on demand directly from the individual artist. As soon as an order is received and processed, the Photographer's Showcase artist is contacted and the artwork is sent to photo-eye where it is inspected by our Gallery staff before being sent to the purchaser. The buyer is informed of any delays in processing or shipping.
Print Quality and Authenticity
All print sales are directed through photo-eye Gallery located in Santa Fe. Our gallery personnel inspect each print before shipping the order to the buyer. photo-eye requires all photograpers to process their work to professional archival standards. Prints must have an unblemished surface with careful spotting of all imperfections.
There are several ways in which original artwork is authenticated. Most artists sign and number their work on either the front or back of the artwork. If this is not the case, photo-eye and the Photographer's Showcase will provide a letter of authenticity.
Matting and Framing
All prints are professionally matted using museum or 100% rag board, unless the artwork is sold ready to frame, hang, or display and it is the intention of the artist that it not be overmatted. Framing is not included in the price of the artwork, nor is it a service that is provided through the Photographer's Showcase.
Domestic print orders are sent from photo-eye to the buyer via a 3 Day, insured service. Print orders sent outside the United States travel via an insured air service. photo-eye is happy, however, to accomodate any special circumstances or requirements that you, as the buyer, may require. Payment Options and Information
All prices at Photographer's Showcase are in USD (United States Dollars). photo-eye accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express (Amex) credit cards. You may call toll-free 800.227.6941 to place an order or you may order directly online using our secure server.
Sales tax is charged to purchases made within the State of New Mexico. photo-eye accepts orders from any country. When paying by credit card from outside the United States, your credit card will be billed in your local currency of the equivalent of the retail U.S. Dollar price of the print purchased.
Customer Satisfaction Policy and Returns
photo-eye accepts all returns from our collectors under our 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. You may, for any reason, return artwork by a Photographer's Showcase Artist purchased from photo-eye if you notify photo-eye of your intent to do so within 14 days of receipt of shipment. You will receive a full refund less the shipping charges as long as the artwork is returned in the same condition as when it was first shipped from photo-eye. No reimbursement is made for any shipping expense incurred in returning the artwork to photo-eye.
In the unlikely event that the artwork arrives damaged, please contact photo-eye immediately before taking any action. Upon contacting photo-eye you will be instructed as to what to do, which may involve keeping the artwork until a claim is filed with the carrier service involved.
