[  ] Review All Photographer's Showcase Information
We strongly encourage applicants to fully explore the potential of this site and read all of the documentation that is provided online. Once you understand this information, the application process will become an easy step-by-step process.

[  ] Edit Your Work
Determine the work you would like to submit for jurying, keeping in mind the following points. The Photographer's Showcase is looking for quality, personal fine-art photography that utilizes photographic methods and techniques, either exclusively or in conjunction with other artistic processes, and not commercial or stock photography. The successful portfolios present a cohesive body of work that demonstrates a freshness of vision.

[  ] Make Scans of Your Work
Submit work as digital files outlined on the Scans Specifications page.

[  ] Name Your Scans
All of your scans must be named literally Image1.jpg, Image2.jpg, Image3.jpg, etc. as this is the requirement for showing the work at Photographer's Showcase. Name them in the order you would like the jurors to view your work. Do not use the title of the image as the name of the file. Instead, use a title list as a way to cross reference your scans.

[  ] Compile a Title List
Prepare a list of titles for your scans including process, dimensions, and retail price. Cross reference this itemized list to your scans. Again all scans must be named Image1.jpg, Image2.jpg, etc. as described above.

[  ] Prepare an Artist Résumé
Include your education, exhibitions, awards, and any additional information that indicates your commitment to photography.

[  ] Prepare an Artist Statement
Include a short statement (three paragraphs or less) about your body of work and/or what you explore as an artist. If these images are a visual narrative, please give the jurors some background information.

[  ] Prepare a Process Statement
Describe the technical process(es) you use in your work. Include any camera or darkroom techniques that make your work distinctive.
