Michael Kenna. Preface by Mayumi Shinohara. Essay by Kohtaro Iizawa. Gallery Min, Tokyo, 1990. Unpaged. Square quarto. Signed in ink on title page. Clothbound with "Michael Kenna" blind stamped on front cover. No dust jacket as issued. 37 full-page black-and-white reproductions.

Not to be confused with the far more common softbound issue of this early Kenna catalogue, an unknown number of which were bound in cloth. Features Kenna's inimitable black-and-white large format landscapes. Includes black and white work taken in Paris and other areas of France, Czechoslovakia, England, as well as in California and Alaska. An amazingly scarce find for the Kenna enthusiast!

Fine.
