Waga Tokyo 100 (My Tokyo 100) Photographs by Issei Suda. Nikkor Club, Tokyo, Japan, 1979. 139 pp. Quarto. Stiff wrappers in dust jacket. Black-and-white reproductions.

Early in his career, Issei Suda worked as a publicity and set photographer with avant-garde theater impresario Shuji Terayama. Under his influence, Suda continued to pursue the mystical side of daily life in his photography. In 1979, he was a participant in the important exhibition Japan: A Self-Portrait at the International Center of Photography in New York.--reference, Anne Tucker, et. al., The History of Japanese Photography.
A very underrated book!!

Fine in Near Fine dust jacket; moderate wear to jacket with some rubbed spots on rear panel; 1" closed tear to lower corner rear panel; very clean wraps and interior; free of foxing.
