Would be Ruscha's last artist's book for six years. The most ironic of his books; unlike the deadpan factuality of the others, the title here deliberately misstates what is contained within. Yet, like his other books, the images are, as he has said, "a collection of 'facts' . . . a collection of readymades.' In this case, deadpan images of cacti floating against white backdrops. Removed from their context, they appear are rendered ever so slightly surreal.
Near Fine+; shelf wear and a trace of soiling to wraps.
