James Fee. Preface by Salvatore Scalora. Essay by Craig Krull. St. Ann's Press, Los Angeles, 2001. Unpaged (10 pp. text + plates). Quarto. Deluxe edition of 200 copies. Clothbound. Tipped on cover image. Signed on front flyleaf. No dust jacket as issued. 132 color and toned black-and-white reproductions. Slipcased with matching clothbound portfolio containing 3 original prints, each signed and numbered by Fee. All prints are on 8 x 10 in. paper and are corner mounted in hinged window mats.

Published to coincide with a James Fee retrospective at the William Benton Museum of Art, University of Connecticut at Storrs in 2001. As Craig Krull says in his essay, Fee's pictures "have an archetypal quality; they are symbols of a collective American unconscious." A stunning package with three gorgeous prints!! Fee passed away in 2006.
