Bear Pond. Photographs by Bruce Weber. Bullfinch Press, Boston, 1990. 200 pp. First edition. Quarto. Beige cloth with white embossed title and spine. Library protected dust jacket. Illustrated endpapers. 103 tritone plates.

Bear Pond appeared at time when AIDS was ravaging the gay community. It's classicized imagery is a poignant counterpoint to the devastation being wrought by the disease (the book was made to benefit the AIDS Resource Center in New York). More than 100 images are reproduced in tritone.

Bruce Weber. An Exhibition By Bruce Weber at Fahey Klein Gallery. Text by William Burroughs. Design by Dimitri Levas. Treville, Tokyo, 1991. Unpaged. Large quarto. Stiff photo-illustrated wrappers. Black-and-white reproductions.
Fine-; light edge wear.

Exhibition catalogue produced to accompany the Fahey/Klein Gallery showing of Bruce Weber's photographs held in Los Angeles, and the Parco Galllery in Tokyo Japan in 1991. Stunningly designed by Dimitri Levas, it features a wide range of editorial, commercial and personal work in Weber's inimitable style.
