Photographs of Architecture. Philip Trager. Wesleyan University Press, Middletown, Connecticut, 1977. First edition. Cloth. Large quarto in photo-illustrated dustjacket. 4 pp. Introduction by Samuel M. Green II + sixty full-page plates + 6 pp. notes + 1 p. geographical index. From the estate of pioneering gallery owner Lee D. Witkin, with the estate stamp on the rear free endpaper. The Witkin Gallery exhibited and represented Trager's photographs.

Philip Trager is one of the most accomplished contemporary architectural photographers, with nearly forty years and numerous books to his credit. He spent three years photographing the architecture of Connecticut for this project, working with a view camera and creating masterfully composed images of both public and residential structures.

A very fine copy; minor edgewear and rubbing to the dustjacket, and a couple small light surface scratches on back panel of jacket.
