Peter Beard Posters. (Lot of 2)
These two different posters reproduce page spreads from Peter Beard's remarkable diaries. In particular, these reproductions are page spreads from his Bicentennial Diary, which was also, evidently, the title of a Peter Beard film. Each poster is beautifully printed on heavy 34-1/2 x 22-1/2 in. paper stock. One poster has printed "Bicentennial Diary 1976" in script at the bottom, the other has a printed Peter Beard signature. Some of this work was shown in a 1989 exhibition: Photo Journals, curated by David Lee, at the Center for Book Arts in New York.
Light wrinkling to the edges of the posters; holes in corners; paper has tendency to roll. |
