NOTE: IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THIS IS A SECOND PRINTING, PRODUCED IN 1971.
Every Building on Sunset Strip. Photographs by Edward Ruscha. Octavo. Softbound accordion-fold of 53 1/2 panels totaling 27 ft. Black-and-white images. Silver mylar covered slipcase. Self-published, 1966.

Ruscha's book projects are among the most significant works of art of the 60s. Every Building on Sunset Strip is the most ambitious of these works. While he shares Pop Art's concern with American vernacular imagery, he also had an enormous influence on 70s Conceptual artists' concerns with seriality and typology. A much sought after work of true historical import! Listed in The Book of 101 Books.

Beautiful Fine copy in Very Good slipcase. Verso of last panel has 1" tape residue; typical spine creasing. Slipcase boards have one inch tears near opening, mylar protected by clear acetate.
