38th Venice Biennial. Essay by Peter C. Callahan. Introduction by Robert T. Buck. Preface by Thomas M. Messer. Rizzoli International, New York, 1978. 79 pp. Quarto. Photo-illustrated wrappers. Text in English and Italian. 92 black-and-white and 10 color plates. The theme "From Nature to Art, from Art to Nature" led the International Exhibitions Committee to Callahan. The selection of his work includes the Eleanor series, trees and weeds, Cape Cod, and city buildings. A Fine copy with minor rubbing.
