Richard Avedon: The Minneapolis Institute of the Arts, July 2-August 30, 1970. A soft, square folio containing 2 posters; 10 loose black-and-white reproductions on heavy stock; a saddle-stitched booklet with an essay by Avedon; and a loose sheet containing a statement by Avedon explaining the presence in the exhibition of photographs of the 'Chicago Seven', who had recently been convicted. Also includes an invitation to the Members' Preview reception.
An extremely scarce piece of Avedon memorabilia, especially considering the presence of his statement explaining the inclusion of the Chicago Seven pictures and the original invitation.
Folio case is Near Fine, with typical wear to its folds and some scratches to the silver cover; contents are Fine with some yellowing to poster stock.
