Originally published in a numbered first edition of 1000, a second edition was later published on the occasion of the 2000 exhibition, "Jacqueline Hassink: The Table of Power," at The Gallery of Photography, Dublin. Parr and Badger call this book, "at once completely objective and wholly subversive." "By focusing on these trappings of power in rooms to which only a privileged few have access," they go on to say, "Hassinkk raises questions not only about the nature of the ritual--and a mythological significance that dates back to King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table--but also about accountability.".
