This book presents Callahan's beach photographs, taken from 1941 to the date of publication, in locations from Cape Cod to Lake Michigan. The plates were laser-scanned from the original photographs and printed in offset lithography, and preserve Callahan's subtle tonalities. This copy was SIGNED AND DATED IN INK on the half-title page by Callahan in the year of publication.
The book is in very fine condition; dustjacket has some light soiling with small marks and scuffs and two very small edge-tears. |
