'Naked Nurses' is a classic Richard Prince artist's book that, like similar work by him, began it's life as pulp fiction or soft core genre porn. Using techniques associated with the 'Pictures Generation' and 'appropriation art' Prince, reworked his found material, turning the (very explicit) nurses into (no less explicit) "nurses".
An emblematic 'Pictures Generation' work, Inside World is an early Prince artist's book with works by fellow artists Richard Artschwager, Troy Brauntch, Francis Picabia, Sigmar Polke, Richard Prince, Man Ray, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol.
