John Gossages contribution to the renowned Nazraeli One Picture book series. Each volume contains one original print, tipped into the book on top of a written description of the image itself. Delicately hinged, it allows of peeking under the print in order to read what is printed below. The other "photographs" are in fact not images at all, but rather written descriptions, somewhat in the manner of conceptual artist Lawrence Weiner. "The result is a truly original artists' book which deals with the 'reading' of photographs and the subjectivity of language and vision," said Nazraeli of this project when it was published. publisher.
