A sought after protest book documenting the uprising--mostly by local farmers displaced from their land--that took place during the building of Narita Airport. Though it is more or less straight photojournalism, it breaks from earlier 'straight' styles with an approach that is much more visceral and immediate, in many places recalling the rough and grainy approach of the Provoke and Vivo groups. A fantastic book; highly recommended!!
