Adam Fuss: A conversation between the artist and Paul Arden.
Words by Adam Fuss and Paul Arden, directed by Sam Hodgkin.
Timothy Taylor Gallery, London, 2005.
Adam Fuss constantly re-thinks the photographic process in pursuit of images the embody the ephemeral. While he has mastered both historic and contemporary processes, his pursuit - like that of early English photographer Henry Fox Talbot - uses light and chemistry to explore the outer reaches of a vision. Fuss's work does not reproduce the seen but discovers the unseen.
Filmed at home in West Sussex and in the Timothy Taylor Gallery on the occasion of his first exhibition in the UK, Adam Fuss discusses his practise with friend Paul Arden.
