Taken by an inside participant, these photographs provide an intimate look at the cultural upheaval of the 1960s. Included are portraits of The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Andy Warhol, and Timothy Leary. Other photos are of demonstrations, "Be-ins," and communes in New Mexico and California. According to Publishers Weekly, Law "has captured the heart of the '60s." Dennis Hopper calls it "the definitive work of the sixties."
