Newspaper Pretty Much Everything.
By Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin.
M/M Paris, 2011. 108 pp., Color and black & white illustrations throughout, 16½x20½".
Subtitled the ‘The Newspaper Collector’s Edition’, this newspaper designed by M/M (Paris) was released for the exhibition ‘Pretty Much Everything’ at the Foam Fotografiemuseum in Amsterdam, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Van Lamsweerde and Matadin’s career. Seeing the retrospective as a news event, M/M (Paris) decided to create a newspaper. The 25 most influential photographs – one per year – were carefully selected to reflect the vast body of work. Among the works featured are ‘Final Fantasy’ from the ‘Wendy 25 series’ and ‘Marcel’ from the ‘Forest‘ series. A highly-anticipated essay by Michael Bracewell completes the publication.
