Dennis Stock is one of the most prolific and varied photographers of 20th century. He has photographed nearly every element of American culture, from jazz musicians and movie stars to biker gangs and hippie communes. Getting his start at an early age with the prestigious Magnum agency, Stock quickly became one of the most influential magazine photographers of his time. Over his long career, he has developed a signature style exemplary in both his commissioned work and his personal projects. This is a beautifully reproduced retrospective of his work.
