To accompany certain unique, oversized prints, Weifenbach produced sets of unbound color copies of various details extracted from the image itself, which she called 'instruction manuals'. "The details function as emotional operating instructions for viewing the photograph from which they were taken" (the publisher). Nazraeli has now published 21 May 1995, one of her best-known images, as a limited edition Instruction Manual. 12 details and 1 full-image original print, measuring 2-3/4x4-1/4", comprise the totality of this petite edition, limited to 500 copies, each signed and numbered by the artist.
