This is Rosenstock's third volume of classic, black-and-white photographs in the manner of the West Coast school of photography, personified, most popularly, by Ansel Adams. His work is characterized by careful, sensitive compositions that glorify the natural world, coupled with a technical mastery born of years of practice with a large format view camera. In this tribute to the far-flung places of the world, Rosenstock has chosen a total of 42 images, including images of Kenya, Ireland, Morocco, Peru, New Zealand, Ecuador, and the United States.
