Publisher's Description
Leira is a river just outside Oslo, where the photographer was born. This project represents a 2 year photographic romance with the river, nature and the landscape around it. As such, it is something of a departure for Andersen, whose previos work has had a more distinctly urban feel, often reminiscent of Daido Mariyama and other Japanese street photographers. The limited edition is housed in a simple white paper slipcase, signed and numbered by the artist and includes an unsigned 7x9 inch RC gelatin silver photograph of a river landscape.
