Photographs by Mehdi Saghafi.
Photographed in 2004, this book captures a brief moment in the history of Treasure Island, a 403 acre island in the San Francisco Bay made in 1935 and used by the military until the mid 1990s. It is a personal look at a landscape that is bittersweet with great universal beauty, containing images of an abandoned space being reclaimed by nature.
