Gallery 339 has been pleased to work with Yuichi Hibi to publish 127, which is accompanied by a current exhibition at the gallery. The book contains 20 square-format portraits that Hibi photographed between 1994 and 1995, and it includes an essay by Sean Corcoran, Curator of Prints and Photographs at the Museum of the City of New York. It is bound with a handsome black suede cover and beautifully designed by Ellen Shek, who designed two of Hibi’s previous publications, Greetings from…Shanghai and Rojin.
