This album is devoted to the kommounalki in the heart of St. Petersburg. These apartments are a community
habitat and a way of life typical of a certain kind of Russia - born in the revolution of 1917, flourishing under the
Communist regime and still alive in Russia today. The photographer skillfully captures the tenents daily lives in these grand, tired buildings.
