Paysages d'un exile
Photographs by Rif Spahni. Text by María Zambrano
84 pp., 32 duotono plates, 21x13".
The desert, the density, the monotony, human traces, living without limitation. An intimate reflection about the exile and about our inner deserts.
To undergo conflicts in one's own country, to lose one's rights, to have to flee and find a new place to be with one's people, to re-establish and reorganize oneself as a person and to recover one's lost identity is a major human tragedy.
Rif Spahni (Mallorca, 1972) carried out this essay at the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf, at the South Eastern Algeria, during the years 2005 a 2007.
Numbered edition of 1000.
