On The Edge.
Edited by Rosa Olivares. Numerous contributing photographers.
168 pp., color and black & white illustrations throughout, 8¼x10¼".
What are the limits of photography? This issue examines the topic by traveling to the most remote places one can reach and exploring their relation to the production of images, seeing just how far photography and photographers can go today. It is the eye that defines the limits, that increasingly deepens and expands the possibility of forging ahead, of conquering. Although the world grows increasingly smaller, it is still the solitary individual who reaches the most inaccessible landscapes and frontiers, documenting these limits and making them reality. With contributions by Chrystel Lebas, Thomas Joshua Cooper, Gerco de Ruijter, Luisa Zanzani, Céline Clanet and many more.
