Universidad de Salamanca,
Salamanca,
2002.
108 pp., numerous color illustrations, 8¾x8¾".
Publisher's Description
Nebreda’s shocking photographs go beyond any moral and aesthetic
standard in their depiction of destruction, humiliation and cruelty. These
are 35 self portraits in the extreme, finding tortured affirmation in
mutilation spanning nearly two decades from 1983 to 1999. Nebreda’s
work is introduced and discussed in two essays and through an interview
with Nebreda himself.
