Swedish photographer Johan Berglund presents a thought provoking collection of images taken over a ten year period in various locations of armed conflict, such as Somalia, Liberia, Angola and Bosnia. These images, which protest against the ‘exoticism of violence’ presented by the general media, capture moments of everyday normal life, of people and communities that live on, despite the destruction that surrounds them.
