Exit 26 adopts the idea of the window as a metaphor for reflecting on some of the strategies of contemporary photography. Divided into three sections, the first, ‘Frame' contains portfolios of work from John Divola and Thomas Florschuetz; the second, ‘Glass', work from Uta Barth and Sabine Horning; and the last, ‘The Gaze', works from Shoja Azari and Lucinda Devlin. In addition, included are subject-relevant images from some 30 photographers, including Todd Hido, Merry Alpern, Naoya Hatakeyama, Luisa Lambri, and Joel Meyerowitz.
