Record No. 7.
Photographs by Daido Moriyama.
48 pp., Numerous black & white illustrations., 8¼x11".
After reading Moriyama’s short, but sobering observation about the temporality of
existence, it is difficult not to view his collection of images from a very different
perspective. Recorded are black and white photographs of animals, people,
structures and street scenes, taken in and around Tokyo – all alive and thriving,
yet bound by an impermanence of time and place.
