James Karman serves as the mediator and 'curator' of the work of both of these loved artists--the poetry of Jeffers and the photographs of Baer. Before he passed away in 1995, Baer conceived the idea of a publication that coupled his images with the mystical and moving poetry of Jeffers. This book fulfills his last wish.
