Following on from the exquisitely produced “In Japan” (2006 & 2010) and “In Hokkaido” (2009) we are delighted to announce “In France”, an equally beautiful artist’s book published by RAM (Tokyo). With 58 images made by Michael Kenna between the years of 1984 and 2011, “In France: merci bien pour tout” is not simply a visual appreciation of a very beautiful country; it is the photographer’s own personal homage to the memory of his dear friend and agent, Martine d’Arc. Bound in vellum with traditional Japanese thread, “In France” opens with an introduction by Michael Kenna, and is printed in an edition of just 2,000 copies. A limited quantity is available exclusively from Nazraeli Press in the USA and Europe.
