Photographs by Philip Tsiaras.
170 pp., 47 b&w illustrations, 12x8½".
Philip Tsiaras was born in New Hampshire in 1952 and has lived in New York City since 1978. His family immigrated to the United States from Greece shortly after World War II. This book draws the viewer to the photographs of his family’s world. His father, mother, brother, aunts, and uncle play according to the author’s rules in a funny and amazing series of staged images that tells a lot more than expected.
