Publisher's Description
Shortly after returning to the States from a year in Germany, Award-winning poet and translator Joshua Edwards (author of Imperial Nostalgias and Campeche) walked about 680 miles from his birthplace on the island of Galveston to the West Texas town of Marfa, where he and his wife are building a home they designed with the help of friends and family. He took a photograph after each hour of walking, with the constraints of using available light and a fixed lens. This book collects all 230 photographs from the trip, and serves as a companion to a multidisciplinary project called Architecture for Travelers, more information about which can be found at: www.architecturefortravelers.org
