Keith Johnson's portfolio Water/Garden
"This project inadvertently began with a visit to Claude Monet's home and garden in Giverny, France. At first, I responded as a tourist, soon I found myself visiting other gardens. Glimmers of possibilities arose from my contact sheets and I began to travel to gardens throughout the eastern United States, responding to their form, beauty and simplicity of the manmade landscape of a garden."—Keith Johnson

Eugene Richards: The Fat Baby Eugene Richards: The Fat Baby
The Fat Baby brings together some 15 stories all made since 1990. They are all very different in both style and tone and "immerse us in the lives of Honduran coffee growers, members of a Kansas City street gang, drought-plagued villagers from Niger, and doctors in an embattled Bosnian hospital."—the publisher. "I don't know how it happens, but when I pose for one of these photographs, I become immersed in the past. It is akin to Alice falling through the looking glass. I use no props; I pose against a neutral, white background, and before I know what has happened, I am lost in a reverie..."—John Coplans READ MORE
