Gary Grenell's portfolio Five Blocks to Green Lake
"Green Lake, Seattle is my neighborhood, my home and the epicenter of my photographic world... Since 1992 I have spent innumerable hours wandering the neighborhood sidewalks and the two-mile path around the lake...All of these portraits are of strangers, and the viewer will quickly see that my interventions are minimal, if at all. Having no set agenda on my walks I remain open to the chance meeting, the fresh encounter."—Gary Grenell |
