It started with several photos of the dockside area La Boca, which I saw in a book I no longer recall. What I do remember is they were all black and white, and had a generally dreary appearance. These images were not what you would call memorable, but together with the striking place name La Boca, an inner longing for Argentina, and the town of Buenos Aires in particular, has had a strong pull on my heart.
